Sedum 'Sunsparkler Wildfire'
The groundcover type of Stonecrop is the perfect size for growing at the front of a sunny border or for edging pathways. This selection forms a low, compact mound of shiny, cherry-red thumbnail-sized foliage with pink variegated edges. Large rose-pink flowerheads appear in late summer, lasting for weeks. Great mass planted on slopes, green roof systems or as a groundcover in other sunny areas.
Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates some light shade. Also tolerates drought and heat, particularly once established. Plants must have good soil drainage to perform well. Plants generally thrive in sandy to gravelly soils of average to moderate fertility.
