Staghorn Fern
These epiphytic plants come grown in soil, but need to be mounted or transferred on other substrates to thrive. Antler fronds rise up from the roots and provide a beautiful, arching display. Shield fronds lay flat against the root ball and help protect the plant. A common mistake is removing the shield frond once it turns brown, which causes the plant to die. It can take some time to become familiar with the best way to keep your staghorn fern properly watered without oversaturating. A unique plant that is sure to be a conversation piece!
Please note Halifax Seed's plant material return policy offers no guarantee on annual flowers, vegetable transplants, herbs, bare root fruit, bulbs, or houseplants.
