Fall rye is a cover crop excellent at preventing erosion, suppressing weeds, and improving soil drainage and areation. Grows quickly and overwinters well. Best sown in the fall after summer crops. Cut back before it reaches 12". Also known as winter rye. 1kg covers approx. 500 sq.ft.
