This aromatic shrubby herb has a multitude of culinary and medicinal uses, adding a tang to meat dishes or salads, and flavouring teas. It is loved by pollinating insects too, and also makes an attractive low hedge, with foliage that remains semi-evergreen in mild areas. 'Tricolour Mixed' is a pretty blend producing purple, pink and white flowers from midsummer to autumn, which rise upwards upon short flower spikes. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 100cm (39").
