Watermelon radish is a Chinese ball-shaped radish that has a pinkish-red interior colour surrounded by a white flesh that turns green at the shoulders. When cut in half, it resembles a watermelon. Roots grow 2-4" in diameter and have tall tops. The flesh is crisp and mildly sweet, great in salads.
