Slug Shield™ creates a physical and an electrochemical barrier that slugs and snails cannot get around or over. They are actively repelled by the pure copper. Slug Shield Stem Barrier™ is a multi-strand flexible pure copper bracelet that wraps around the base or stem of a plant. It expands with plant growth so remains in place all season without damaging the plant tissue. Stem Barrier is particularly useful for all single-stalked plants that include vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees, especially citrus. Stem Barrier comes in two sizes: SIZE 6 for plants up to 2” in diameter and SIZE 12 for plants up to 4” in diameter.
