Storm Cast Composted Seaweed
Storm-Cast is a soil amendment produced through the controlled breakdown of stranded seaweeds and companion organisms mixed with shell and sand from wave action (called wrack). Composted seaweed is useful throughout the growing season and is excellent for all applications, including top-dressing. Made in Nova Scotia.
1kg Bag
Fine-screened and pasteurized for weed-free year-round indoor and outdoor container gardening. The pasteurizing process includes controlled heating of Original Storm-cast to prevent errant weed seeds from germinating. Pasteurized Storm-cast is a dense product; a little goes a long way. Each package is re-sealable.
How to Use:
Houseplants & Herbs - Sprinkle 1 tablespoon on the surface of the soil once a month when watering.
Repotting - Mix ¼ cup in your plant medium.
Seed Starting - Include Storm-cast in your mix.
9kg Bag
Fully-composted wrack seaweed, nothing added. Ready for easy use on and in your gardens. Seaweed is rich in trace minerals, retains moisture, increases pest hardiness, improves plant colour, enhances any soil, and is a renewable, sustainable natural resource.
How to Use:
Add a handful with each transplant; scratch in when weeding; top dress any plant indoors and out. Make Storm-cast part of your potting mix. Mix in the top layers of soil, especially in rows or spots where you are seeding. Add a large handful to each grapevine and berry bush spring and fall.
